The Archetype Civilization: Part One

The Archetype Civilization
Part One
One of the basic tenets throughout this blog has been the concept that there was, after Eden and before the Flood, a period of about 1,656 years, ending in 2348 B.C.  During this time humans developed a world-wide, unified civilization.  To differentiate this civilization from succeeding daughter civilizations (however close) and to give it the pre-eminence that I think that it deserves, I will call this culture the Archetype civilization.  (I know.  I’m very presumptuous.  I’m getting therapy.)

We have been discussing a great many scattered pieces of evidence for this concept from around the world.  Let’s begin to pull some of these pieces of information into a more coherent whole.

While there were regional and stylistic variances here and there, the commonalities of this culture far outweigh the differences and are still evident worldwide.  There were fundamental distinctions in the lives of the people from this time that made these common characteristics recognizable.  I’ll try to group some of those differences into categories.

1.   Physically and mentally superior citizens
2.   Rare or strange artistic and construction materials
3.   A distinctive architectural style
4.   A recognizable, unique and universal language

Physically and mentally superior citizens
First, people lived longer, were healthier, stronger and mentally more capable.

The Bible shows us that the lifespans of the people living up to Noah’s day were longer than our own by more than a factor of 10.  In other words, instead of living 70, 80 or 90 years, they lived for 900 years or more.

Expert analysis, by people who are medical experts on human skull development (and therefore less biased than your average anthropologist or archaeologist), was conducted on the normal maturation processes seen in the most ancient of skulls.  The analysis demonstrated that these people were very much older than anyone who has subsequently lived (see Buried Alive by Jack Cuozzo).  The ancient peoples lived longer.

The earliest human remains showed bones that were denser and more robust, with muscle attachments that were much larger than our own, on the average.  This means that their bodies were more muscular and durable.

In the book of Genesis, in the Bible, Adam was capable of both naming and remembering the names of all the animals – a feat no modern human could accomplish unaided. Additionally, ancient crania (the area of the skull that held the brain) averaged 10% more volume than the current human cranium averages.

Their brains were uniformly larger.  They had to be smarter.

Recent studies have been conducted on the physical artifacts and construction works, writings and habits of ancient peoples.  Even those peoples that we are familiar with from more recent times, like the ancient Greeks, were found to be more creative and insightful with better memories than the average modern citizen (I dare say, even if augmented by a smart phone).

Sorry, folks.  The facts don’t support e-volution.  De-volution is very real and provable, however, especially within humanity.

For example, there are scholars who specialize in Greek architecture.  They have concluded that, while we can copy the styles and techniques of ancient Greek buildings, there is no way that we, as a people, could ever have created such innovative, graceful works that blended into the existing landscapes as the Greeks did.

Despite what you may have been told, humanity is not getting better and better.  We are not superior to our ancestors.  We are not evolving into a higher species.  Just the opposite in fact.

If they possessed superior neurology, then vision and hand/eye coordination would have logically been superior in the Archetype people as well.  There is evidence to support this.

As one example, in the blog entry entitled “Cave Sight,” we saw that earlier peoples left traces of artistic work.  The characteristics and location of that work showed both extraordinary skill and superior eyesight.

So, trait one of the Archetype Civilization is the evidence of more robust, capable and intelligent individuals.

Next time we’ll look at rare or strange artistic and construction materials

WARNING!!
The truth is there.  You just have to see it.
This blog has been written with the sole purpose of using the ample evidence available to verify and support the biblical record, while refuting the copious propaganda that is shoved down our throats daily by materialistic uniformitarians.
It is my contention that the Bible describes God's original creation of people with extraordinary capabilities who subsequently created an advanced civilization that exceeds our own.  It was destroyed in the Great Flood and we have spent the last 4,500 years trying to preserve or re-build that civilization.  I contend that science supports all this in multiple disciplines, but this information is ignored, discredited or suppressed by people who have an opposing agenda.
Nothing that you see on this blog is original.  Any fact that you see here is obtainable on a dozen different websites and books.  I use these facts and photos, without violating their copyrights, under the legal principle of fair use practice.  That is, I use them one time, for educational purposes only.
The point is, nothing here is made up.  The only thing that I do (or need to do) is assemble this information in its readily discernible pattern.
You might want to read through the first entry posted on this blog (Past Remembering: Thoughts toward a coherent view of our ancient past, our present and our future) in order to understand my theoretical and theological underpinnings more clearly.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 (NASB)
That which has been is that which will be,
And that which has been done is that which will be done.
So there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which one might say,
“See this, it is new”?
Already it has existed for ages
Which were before us.
